As Chief Technology Officer at Veson, Ben oversees all engineering, software development and cloud operations. He is passionate about building high-quality software, and believes that a culture of continuous improvement is key to our ongoing success.

As VP for Data Science & Analytics, Alex uses statistical methods to derive actionable intelligence from Veson’s data assets. An experienced mathematician with 15 years in academia, he oversees scientific research to support product developments. Before joining Veson in 2023, Alex was Chief Scientist at VesselsValue and previously Director of the London Mathematical Laboratory.

As the Services Technical Team Lead here at Veson Nautical, Andrew is responsible for providing technical support to the Services teams, providing creative solutions for Client integrations and delivering new VIP projects. Prior to Veson Nautical, Andrew spent 20 years working in the Finance industry architecting and supporting technical solutions. His knowledge of working with a wide range of technologies allows for creative solutions and allows our Clients to meet their goals.

Asako Teruki is the Executive Officer at NYK Business Systems, Head of 6 Division, for most of the applications and DX. Asako has more than 30-years of experience in shipping businesses, chartering, operations, and ship management. Asako is also involved in various business and IT projects including a VIP implementation project as the Project Manager/Consultant.  

Ayo joined Veson Nautical in 2011, and now serves as the company’s Director of Global Commercial Solutions Consultants. In this role, Ayo is leading the Global CSC Organization to deliver technical expertise and solutions to the commercial maritime industry. Ayo has held a variety of roles across Veson, including Director of Professional Services, Houston as well as a Senior Consultant.

Bente has worked with and for NORDEN with a 3-year break since 2008. Bente’s primary goal in her work over many years within the IT field, has always been to bridge the gap between the Business and IT, and support the business perspective in implementations.

Bobby Morse joined Veson in 2020 and as a Group Product Manager is responsible for the broad spectrum of Chartering and Operations workflows within VIP. Before Veson, he worked for SS&C Eze, where he was previously the Senior Product Manager of an order management trading system for hedge funds and asset managers. Bobby is well acquainted with mission critical software platforms in complex and regulated industries and is a CFA charterholder.

As the Vice President of Technical Solutions at Veson Nautical, Brian is responsible to ensure our clients receive top-notch software support with commercial maritime expertise for all Veson products. The Technical Solutions organization is focused on helping clients adopt products and maximize value. Brian has spent 15+ years working in consulting and support in maritime tech and is proud to work side by side with clients across various industry verticals.

As the Team Manager of Client Success at Veson, Christian is responsible for setting the overall vision and strategic plans for the Client Success Department. Christian’s responsibilities focus on driving product adoption, improving client health, and supporting growth and expansion with Veson clients. Prior to Client Success, Christian worked as a Senior Consultant within the Professional Services group supporting client implementations.

In his role as a Consultant at Veson Nautical, Christos takes the lead in guiding clients and providing consultation for successful project engagements. Before joining Veson, Christos accumulated six years of experience at another shipping software company, where he specialized in Financial applications. This background equipped him with extensive knowledge in accounting and financial workflows, which he now combines with his deep understanding of Operations and Chartering within Veson Nautical’s product, VIP.

Cynthia is responsible for Sedna’s strategic accounts. She has spent two decades defining, delivering and amplifying disruptive technology across the global commodities supply chain. She has detailed knowledge of digitalisation of trade developed during her tenure with ICE, and helped shape the digital strategy in maritime while at ICE Digital Trade / essDocs, launching the eBill of Lading, eBarge Receipt and eSDS into mainstream use.

Eleni got her career start at Veson Nautical working as a software analyst, and was later promoted to the position of consultant, part of the professional services team based in London. Eleni has been working closely to clients on various projects and strategic engagements in which she has been performing business analysis, implementing solutions and delivering quality work. Prior to Veson Nautical, Eleni has studied Maritime Operations and Management at City University of London, which has been an opportunity to acquire skills necessary to develop her career in the industry.

After graduating from the A.P. Møller Mærsk Management Trainee Program and spending time working in the maritime industry, Graham joined Veson Nautical in 2012 as a Commercial Manager in the APAC region. Since that time, Graham has served in numerous leadership roles within commercial operations and strategy. Today Graham manages the Intelligence & Analytics Commercial team, and heads up Veson’s Platform Partner program, working closely with our clients and the market leading partners that Veson collaborates with. Graham received his Executive MBA from Warwick Business School, UK.

As Veson’s Senior Vice President of Global Account Management, Greg utilizes his industry and product knowledge to empower the global account team in guiding clients on their digitalization journeys with the Veson IMOS Platform.

Jesse has led Veson Nautical’s Global Services organization since 2011 and is a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. He has been with the company since 2007 working with the world’s largest commercial maritime and commodity organizations implementing the standard platform that propels maritime commerce. Jesse is responsible for managing Veson Nautical’s Global Services organization including the Professional Services, Technical Solutions, and Education Services groups with oversight for all customer deployment, enablement/empowerment, and evolution. As the most experienced services organization in the commercial maritime world, Veson Global Services is committed to delivering value at every stage of our client’s digital journey—from initial solution design, to go-live, training, continuing education, and ongoing success.

As the Client Success Manager at Veson, Jacey is trying to improve the overall experience for her clients: from product release update to best practice, from user query to support tickets and much more. She would like to facilitate the clients to make fully and good use of the system. Prior to this role, Jacey was one of the consultants in the professional services team and this leads to her in-depth knowledge and experience in the industry.

Jon holds over a decade’s experience in sustainability projects and innovation, including seven years in vessel acquisition and as a seafarer. His current role involves working with stakeholders to provide and develop digital tools that enable smart use of data to improve environmental performance with a focus on air emissions.

As a Group Product Manager, Josh owns several VIP product areas with a focus on pre-fixture workflows, risk management, and market analysis, while also mentoring the next generation of product management talent.

Laurent Reit is a seasoned Chief Technology Officer based in Montreal, Canada, with a strong experience across diverse industries such as consulting, investment management, retail banking, and consumer goods. Specializing in digital and data & analytics (D&A) transformation, he has been a driving force for change, consistently leveraging technology to deliver innovative business solutions.

Lisa McCord is the Director of Commercial Marine, supporting Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a Fortune 25 company. Lisa has been in the energy industry for 25 years, with 15 of those focused on shipping (all with Veson!). She leads teams encompassing Chartering, Commercial Marine Operations and Optimization, Demurrage, and Analytics.  

Napoleon Vasileiou joined Veson Nautical in March 2016 as a member of the Technical Solutions team, then joined the Professional Services team as a Consultant. In his current role as a Senior Consultant, Napoleon maps complex customer processes from beginning to end. While providing and managing implementation processes, he delivers customized trainings and ongoing support to end-users, IT, and management to ensure a successful system adaptation every time. Napoleon also provides technical knowledge and pre-sales support to his team and mentors new Consultants and Technical Solutions members, guaranteeing a smooth and uniform onboarding process.

Pelle spearheads ZeroNorth’s data handling and technological capabilities, scaling up the organisation’s use of AI and machine learning to help improve the overall customer experience and drive the industry’s decarbonisation.

Peter Williams is a product manager here at Veson, responsible for both the recently acquired VesselsValue Trade platform, and the powerful Oceanbolt product. Before joining Veson, Peter worked globally within the banking and aviation sectors and brings a wealth of experience to the development of exciting new products and integrations.

Dr. Piyush has over 24 years of experience in maritime domain, which spans in shipping, shipbuilding, maritime classification, and technology domains. Over the last several years, Piyush has been focusing on innovation in the maritime industry, especially how technology can help strategic and operational decision making for the planet, people and profits.

Rene Greiner is the Data & Digital Lead of Cargill Ocean Transportation and is based in Geneva, Switzerland. He has spent more than 20 years in Commodity Trading, Data and Technology and has successfully managed Cargills Ocean Transportation’s digital transformation since 2022. 

Sam rejoined Veson in 2021 as a Senior Product Manager, building on her previous Veson experience in both Product and Technical Solutions. Sam’s breadth of industry knowledge and passion for maritime shipping make her a leader within Veson and a key advocate for clients and users.

As Veson’s President and COO, Sean is responsible for driving and managing company operations including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Veson’s regional offices.

Sigrid is responsible for driving growth and customer success in PortLog, Marcura’s port intelligence application. She works in close collaboration with colleagues in DA-Desk and MarTrust to deliver solutions that streamline processes in the maritime industry. Prior to joining Marcura in 2020, Sigrid has held several management positions with a major dry bulk operator. 

Sophie is a Senior Account Manager at Veson Nautical who joined as part of the VesselsValue acquisition. She leads strategies and campaigns across the wider VesselsValue client team and manages VesselsValue’s key global financial client base including leading shipping banks, publicly listed ship owners, and other alternative finance companies to find creative and bespoke data integrations for her clients.

Thomas Hechmann has a long career in commercial shipping from companies such as AP Moller-Maersk and DS Norden, as well as having worked as an independent shipping consultant. Today Thomas works for Coach Solutions (part of the Kongsberg Group) providing SaaS-based solutions to the shipping industry which optimizes vessel performance and reduces Co2 emissions. 

Tom Evans joined Veson Nautical as part of the VesselsValues acquisition as VP of Valuation Sales. Before joining Veson, Tom ran the global Sales and Client Services teams as the Chief Operating Officer in VV’s London HQ. He remains active in Sale and Purchase, continuing to work with many major Greek and Japanese shipowner and operator clients.

As the Customer Success Manager here at Veson Nautical, Vickys’ ultimate goal is to ensure that customers achieve their desired outcomes and have a positive experience with the Vesons’ products and services. Her extensive industry knowledge allows her to understand and evaluate clients’ needs. Prior to Veson, Vicky spent nearly 9 years as an Operator in Shipping Companies and 3 years as a Consultant in a Maritime Software.

Yunus Kaya is an experienced member of StormGeo’s Fleet Performance Center, a solution oriented professional with a passion for decarbonization and digitalization in maritime. Offering practical and creative solutions to maritime industry by combining technical education with on board and ashore experiences in shipping.
