Hello, my name is Ganesh Maurya. I’m working with Suisse-Atlantique as the Application Manager and looking after the Veson IMOS Platform (VIP) for them. I have almost six years of experience working with IMOS legacy as well as VIP.

How has the relationship with Veson grown since first using our product?
I was an IMOS specialist for my previous organization for five years. Working with Veson has been very good and they are very approachable for any issues. I started with Legacy IMOS and then we moved to VIP, and we had a smooth transition from Legacy to VIP. The Veson team have been very helpful in doing the training and supporting us, and I can say the relationship has grown leaps and bounds.

What is the main reason you would recommend Veson products and services?
One of the main reasons to switch to VIP, I think, is the seamless integration between the four modules of Chartering to Operations to Financials and, finally, Analytics. It’s very good because mostly companies who are not using VIP are having to deal with separate systems for chartering, operations, and accounting, and they often have to build something. But using Veson as an application, it gives you seamless integration because once the chartering for the voyage is complete, operations takes over and then it goes directly into invoicing and the analytics. This centralized workflow then allows you to build up the analytics more over time.

How are you leveraging integrations to enhance connectivity and streamline workflows?
We have integrations to incorporate data regarding agencies, bunkers and our accounting system as well. Integrations with VIP enables us to enhance processes like invoicing because we can pull payments in from different software. VIP provides flexibility so you can integrate with any other application with ease, so I think that’s one of the key advantages of having VIP.

What would you tell someone considering Veson’s products?
I would say one of the major benefits you will find with VIP is, first of all, it’s web-based. So your user can access VIP from any location with just an Internet connection. That’s it. Another major benefit is the ability to perform all your commercial activities under one single platform. This gives the organization leverage and visibility — it’s like you can see multiple teams across the organization coming together to achieve a common goal. So I think I would highly recommend to go with VIP, having the experience of working with the platform for almost five years. I would recommend it to anyone considering VIP.
