Streamline chemical tank cleaning with Milbros UV Graphs
Chemical and oil companies are familiar with the traditional practices of tanker inspections, which often place crew members at risk from physical exposure to toxic chemicals.
Milbros, a trusted data source for chemical and oil cargo handling, is paving the way for a safer, more efficient, and compliant approach to chemical tank cleaning with UV Graphs.
How it works, is a spectrophotometer measures the intensity of light that can pass through a substance. Then, the reading is compared against a UV graph to determine whether the tanker has been sufficiently cleaned and ready for new cargo.
In partnership with Marine Care, Milbros offers at least 250 UV graphs on various chemicals, allowing charterers, crew, inspectors, and other maritime professionals the ability to clean tanks remotely and efficiently.
