Veson Nautical Renews SOC Accreditations for Seventh Consecutive Year
January 15 | Boston, MA
Boston, MA — Thursday, January 15, 2026 — Veson Nautical, a global leader in maritime data and freight management solutions, announces that it has achieved SOC1 Type II and SOC2 Type II recertification across numerous platforms in 2025. As in previous years, the comprehensive audits were undertaken by Aprio, a leading global security and compliance firm. No exceptions were noted across any of the systems, further underscoring Veson’s extremely strong commitment to operational excellence and to cyber security.
The SOC2 Type II attestation evaluates Veson’s platforms against a number of Trust Services Criteria: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy. Collectively, these criteria demonstrate Veson’s ongoing professionalism when it comes to managing client data, and to ensuring these systems are both highly reliable and appropriately secured. SOC2 Type II reports are available for IMOS, IMOS X, Shipfix, and Q88.
SOC1 Type II attestation is designed to mitigate risks related to User Entities’ Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR). For the first time, Veson has extended SOC1 coverage to include IMOS X, the modern and mobile-friendly experience for IMOS. SOC1 Type II reports are available for IMOS and IMOS X.
When you follow those two simple principles for many years, the net result is a group of people who operate exceptionally well and run the best platform in the industry.
Ben Thurecht, CTO of Veson Nautical
Ben Thurecht, CTO of Veson Nautical, commented on the achievement: ”It is no surprise that we have achieved recertification for SOC1 and SOC2 across our broad portfolio of solutions, with no exceptions or concerns to mention. We have a strong culture of operational excellence, and the humility to learn from our mistakes as we go. When you follow those two simple principles for many years, the net result is a group of people who operate exceptionally well and run the best platform in the industry.”
Veson is also certified for ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27017:2015, and ISO 27701:2019, further complementing the rigorous standards required under SOC.
