Hi, I’m Michael Steenfeldt. I’m Head of Commercial Business Support with Clipper in Denmark. I’ve been working with the company since 2018.
How has the relationship with Veson grown since first using our product?
I started using the product back in 2011 and since then I’ve been using the product more and more, including all kinds of different modules. In the beginning I was very much focused on the operational side, but now it’s basically the entire package – we’re using it for all our business and we’re not doing anything outside of it.

What improvements and accomplishments have you been able to achieve since partnering with Veson?
We have been able to accomplish a lot. We started out focusing on data quality and being able to know what the business is doing and understand the health of the business on a day-to-day basis rather than only when we were doing accruals. This has made a significant impact.
What’s the main reason you would recommend Veson’s products and services?
It’s the entire package. You can do everything for your business. Doesn’t matter whether you’re doing accruals to risk, whether you’re doing operating, chartering – you have all within one system and you can quickly have an overview of everything.
The most important thing about using a system like the Veson IMOS Platform is to make sure that the entire organization is focused on data quality. We have discovered that one of the ways to do it is by using a Power BI solution so that whatever people are entering data into the system, whether as a new fixture with a new operation side, we can see instantly the good and the bad things happening to the voyages.
