Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

One Team. Many Perspectives.

We value the diverse backgrounds, talents, and specialties of our team members and truly believe that diversity is essential to our ability to continually innovate and grow.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Veson Nautical

Veson Nautical is committed to employee diversity and inclusion. This commitment bolsters our ability to adapt, innovate and build meaningful relationships in pursuit of our corporate mission. We celebrate the benefit to all that arises from utilizing our individual differences as our most valuable asset. We strive to build and nurture a culture where the inclusion of underrepresented voices and ideas is a reflex, not an initiative. We commit ourselves to the understanding that equity is not a passive state, but rather a persistent aspiration requiring affirmative effort and tireless resolve to ensure that everyone has access to the same support, opportunities, and resources.

By achieving our diversity, equity and inclusion goals, in addition to maximizing our effectiveness in delivering and supporting our products and services in the global marketplace, we strengthen our company.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Groups at Veson

Employee Resource Group

Veson Nautical’s DE&I Employee Resource Group (ERG) is a company-wide employee group committed to workplace diversity and to educating, fostering, and preserving a culture of inclusion. This group provides a central forum to discuss DE&I initiatives, learn about how to promote DE&I principles in the workplace, and foster advocacy for a community where each person is valued and allowed to contribute to their full potential. The ERG meets once a month in each region.

Veson Team 1

Book Club

Veson Nautical’s DE&I Book Club offers a forum for interested team members to dive deeper into anti-discrimination learning (racism, sexism, ageism, etc.) and explore diverse viewpoints. The group chooses one book per quarter, focused on a DE&I topic, and discusses the selected book weekly. This group is intended to expand participants’ understanding and perspectives on critical systemic issues related to DE&I.
